Directions to Research Tower(Building A)

From West [I-64], East [I-64 or I-71] or North [I-65].

All converge, take I-65 South (to Louisville and Nashville).

Stay in the right lane

First exit: Downtown Louisville/Jefferson/Brook Streets

Stay on the right side of the exit ramp - this will put you on Jefferson Street

Stay on the left side

Turn left onto First Street

Go 1 block to Liberty Street Turn left onto Liberty

Go under the viaduct and turn right at the light - which is Preston Street

I-65 NORTH BOUND: (coming from Elizabethtown, Bowling Green)

Take Exit 136 C - Muhammad Ali.

At first stop light, turn right on Floyd Street.

Go one block and turn right on Liberty Street.

Go one block and turn right on Preston Street.

After parking, walk across Preston Street then Chestnut Street, walk past Baxter II(new building) go  to the back entrance (thru Abraham Flexner Way - alley) of the 14 story building (Health Sciences Center)

Go in first floor back entrance and walk through to elevators --Take elevator to the 4th floor-- take a right to dept. office on the 4th floor

Parking

• Pay Parking Meters (short term) located all around HSC campus at $0.25 per 12 minutes.
• Visitor/Patient Pay Lot. Lot located at Preston Street and Springer Alley (behind the U of L parking structure at Preston and Chestnut.
