The University of Louisville Medical School Student Senate
Mission Statement: To serve the students of the University of Louisville Medical School as they strive to achieve their goal of becoming physicians. Our goal is to be a pro-active body of students who serve to listen to students and then voice their opinions on school-wide issues to the administration. We do not address class-specific issues; rather we focus on the well-being and improvement of the School of Medicine as a whole. Beyond acting as a voice, we hope to foster community and dialogue by providing events/venues for students. We plan and host several main events each year and hope these provide practical and social outlets for medical school students.
The Student Senate is the official Student Government Association for the School of Medicine. This organization is comprised of the elected officers from each of the four classes and three executive officers.
