The best advice is to find some upperclassmen to ask for their opinion regarding housing options. There are on-campus housing options (Med-Dent Apartments).
A few popular areas include:
1. Mellwood Avenue Area: River Hill Apartments, Highwood Place, and River Oak Apartments.
2. Highlands Area: Many apartment complexes and older (and usually large) restored homes.
3. The Summit: An upscale area located in the northeast corner of Jefferson County with quick access to the Gene Snyder Expressway and Interstate 71.
4. Downtown: Phoenix Place
