What is the Health Care Classic?
The Health Care Classic 5K Run/Walk was created by U of L medical students to promote physical fitness among fellow students, health care professionals, and members of the community. In addition to promoting health and wellness, this event will benefit The Healing Place. In 2003, the Fifteenth Annual Health Care Classic helped to raise over $5000 for the Healing Place! We look forward to contribute an even greater amount in 2010!
Donate to The Healing Place
This year's Health Care Classic is running a drive to collect donations of medical and office equipment for the Will W. Ward Jr., M.D. Medical Clinic, a free clinic at The Healing Place where many medical students volunteer. Your registration fee to run is appreciated, if you wish to donate a little more every bit counts. The Healing Place has successfully served our community for over 15 years.

Cherokee Park Scenic Loop on Cherokee Park Road.

| Registration: |
Early registration fee is $15.00. Forms must be received by April 10
for early registration. The late entry fee and race day entry fee is
$20.00. Race day registration and packet pick-up will begin at 7:30 AM
on race day

| T-Shirts: |
All registrants will receive t-shirts. |
| Awards: |
Overall: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place (men &
women).
Age Group: 1st in all age groups (men
& women).
Door prizes: will also be given away!!!
