CONGRATS TO THE 2011 HCC COMMITTEE FOR RAISING $7200.00 FOR THE HEALING PLACE
What is the Health Care Classic?
The Health Care Classic 5K Run/Walk was created by U of L medical students to promote physical fitness among fellow students, health care professionals, and members of the community. In addition to promoting health and wellness, the proceeds from this event will benefit The Healing Place. In 2010, the 21st Annual Health Care Classic helped to raise over $3000 for the Healing Place! We look forward to contribute an even greater amount in 2011!
Donate to The Healing Place
The mission of The Healing Place is to provide shelter and a recovery program for the chemically dependent and homeless people of the Louisville metro area. Its innovative program takes the homeless off the streets and helps them achieve productive, meaningful lives. All of their services are free of charge. Additionally, second year UofL medical students receive elective credit for working under GLMS physicians in Healing Place medical clinics - where they gain experience seeing patients and hone their clinical skills while serving a needy population. The Healing Place has been nationally recognized for its program model which has been duplicated in numerous other cities in the United States.

Early registration fee is $15.00. Paper forms must be received by April 2nd for early registration. The late entry fee and race day entry fee is $20.00. Race day registration and packet pick-up will begin at 7:30 AM on race day

| T-Shirts: |
All pre-registered runners and walkers are guaranteed a t-shirt. Race day registrants are not guaranteed a t-shirt due to limited supplies. |
| Awards: |
Overall: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place (men & women).
Age Group: 1st in all age groups (men & women).
(18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+)
Door prizes will also be given away!!!
