U of L students, residents sweep ACP awards
Cards continue trend of dominance in annual contest
U of L medical students and residents swept the recent ACP poster competition at the Kentucky chapter's annual meeting.
Before long, brooms will become standard equipment for University of Louisville medical students and residents.
The students continued a recent tradition as they swept all of the awards in the Medical Students Abstract Competition held recently in conjunction with the Kentucky chapter of the American College of Physicians annual meeting.
It marked the third consecutive year that the U of L contingent pulled off a complete sweep.
The winners now move on to the National Abstracts Competition which take place April 7-9, 2011 in San Diego, Calif.
"I am very proud of our folks who had wonderful presentations," Dr. Barbara Casper, director of U of L's Internal Medicine Residency Program said.
