Srivastava named to NIH study section
Sanjay Srivastava, Ph.D., FAHA
University of Lousiville researcher Sanjay Srivastava, Ph.D., FAHA, has been named a member of the National Institutes of Heath's Atherosclerosis and Inflammation of the Cardiovascular System (AICS) study section.
Srivastava, a member of the U of L Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, will begin his six-year term on July 1, 2012 as part of the 19-member group.
The AICS Study Section reviews applications concerned with inflammation of the vascular system with a focus on atherosclerosis, a chronic inflammatory disease.
It also reviews applications on the pathobiology of the blood vessels leading to atherogenesis, its reversal and prevention.
