Infectious Disease division to offer course on clinical research
The University of Louisville Division of Infectious Diseases will be offering a course to health care workers interested in a basic and concise review of the methodology for clinical research.
"The Process of Clinical Research: Step by Step from Idea to Publication" will be held over 10 days beginning Nov. 3 at the University of Louisville Hospital, and directed by Dr. Julio Ramirez, Chief of the U of L Division of Infectious Diseases.
Advancing the knowledge of the basic principles of clinical research, including how research is conducted, evaluated and applied to patient care is the primary goal of the course.
Cost of the entire course is $100 per participant for the 10 sessions. Scholarships are available through the Division of Infectious Diseases.

- Nov. 19 - Analyzing the Data: Confounding (Community Conference Room)
- Nov. 22 - Medical Writing: Abstract, Poster and Manuscript (Community Conference Room)
- Nov. 24 - Clinical Research: Elements for Success (Community Conference Room)
