No one likes to get sick, but unfortunately, it's a fact of life for most of us.
With flu season here, doctors at the University of Louisville Centers for Primary Care - Downtown want you to know the most effective ways to protect yourself against this nasty illness.
Flu season is always unpredictable, said Stephen Houghland, M.D., medical director of the Centers for Primary Care - Downtown.
Although flu epidemics happen every year, the timing, severity and length of an epidemic depends on many factors. It's impossible to predict which flu viruses will prevail during a given season.
