U of L to host IPF Education Day
Amy Holthouser, M.D., was recently selected to receive the 2011 Distinguished Faculty Award for Teaching in the category of Full-Time Teaching.
Holthouser, Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics in U of L's Division of General Internal Medicine, Palliative Medicine & Medical Education, will receive an engraved U of L Medal and $1,000 award at a ceremony in December.
► ILD program to host IPF Education Day
The U of L Interstitial Lung Disease program will be hosting the Patient & Family IPF Education Day program from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the U of L Clinical & Translational Research Building (505 South Hancock Street).
This free program will focus on those affected by idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and give up-to-date information on IPF diagnosis, treatment and research.
