Clinical trials group to volunteer at health fair, concert

Looking for a chance to volunteer on behalf of the U of L Department of Medicine? An opportunity to do just that is just around the corner thanks to our clinical trials group.

The group will be attending the Brown School Health Fair from 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Following that appearance, everyone will head a few blocks north to the banks of the Ohio for the Waterfront Wednesday on the Harbor Lawn concert (featuring Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, The Holmes Brothers & Audra Mae; the concerts are presented by 91.9 FM WFPK Radio) which goes from 5 p.m. until dark.

At both events, U of L staffers will be providing blood pressure screenings, pulse oximetry, random glucose screening, & clinical trial information.

Anyone with flyers, advertisements or promotional materials they would like distributed at the events should bring them to Room A3G04 in the ACB by 10 a.m. Wednesday.
