Awards keep rolling in for U of L doctors
Five garner honors, including three tabbed to receive the President's Distinguished Faculty Award.

Despite the 2009-2010 academic year coming to an end, the awards keep rolling in for members of the University of Louisville Department of Medicine.
A trio of U of L doctors recently earned the prestigious President’s Distinguished Faculty Award, given each year to faculty members who bring distinction to the university in their respective categories.
Dr. Sumanth Prabhu from the Division of Cardiology won the award for Research (Basic/Applied Sciences) while Dr. Donald Miller of the Division of Medical Oncology and Hematology garnered the award for Service (community, Commonwealth and/or region).
Dr. John Eaton, also of the Division of Medical Oncology and Hematology, rounded out the group as he was honored with the Career Achievement Award.
Each winner of the President's Distinguished Faculty Award is awarded an academic medallion and a $1,000 cash award.
