The University of Louisville School of Medicine has offered training in Combined Medicine-Pediatrics since 1985.

We combine two exceptional parent programs in the University of Louisville categorical Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency Programs into an integrated residency program with the goal of training doctors who are able to provide outstanding clinical care to both adults and children.

These doctors are well-prepared for all the opportunities that combined med-peds training should offer including primary care, hospitalist medicine, academic medicine and subspecialty training.

Our graduates have gone on to practice in the settings of primary care, subspecialty practice, hospitalist practice and academics here in Kentucky and beyond.
