Department of Medicine

The Internal Medicine Residency Training Program attracts some of the best and the brightest from across the country.  Our graduates have gone on to become leaders in health care administration, research and patient care in large metropolitan cities to the Appalachian mountains.  Some have continued their training in an array of subspecialty fellowship programs offered within the Department of Medicine and elsewhere.  Our trainees have the opportunity to observe, interact and work alongside faculty who are dedicated academicians, many of whom are leaders in their field.
