Divisions
The Department of Medicine encompasses ten divisions providing educational, clinical and research opportunities for our patients and the community. Our faculty have chosen to share their education by training others in the field of medicine and serve as academic leaders in their discipline. We continue to advance our own knowledge in state of the art procedures and performing clinical and basic research to develop new technology in treating diseases. Members of our faculty have been recognized nationally for their participation in clinical trials and development of medications to prevent illnesses or organ rehabilitation. We will continue to pursue our commitment to providing academic excellence and outstanding patient care in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
