Department of Medicine

The Department of Medicine is the largest department in the School of Medicine with over 150 full-time faculty members in 10 divisions providing outstanding teaching, research and service to students, residents, fellows and the community at large.  We take great pride in the extensive knowledge we share through research and teaching along with the immeasurable benefits for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  The community relies on the Department of Medicine for primary and subspecialty care as leaders in our field.  The collaborative efforts of our faculty physicians provide inter-disciplinary training for the housestaff and care for our patients.
