University – Wide Committees
What is it?
University – Wide Committees are UofL committees that require student representation. These committees drive the policy of our University. As a member you will play a first hand role in the business of UofL, making a very direct contribution. You will also have the great opportunity to network with the “Who’s Who” in UofL faculty and staff! In the past far too many of these students seats have laid empty. If we do not start filling them we will start to lose them, and the student voice will be weakened. They include:
- Academic and Administrative Technology Committee (AATC) – advises the University Provost on information technology issues, and it plans long-term developments to maintain the University’s leadership statewide in information technology.
- Athletic Association Board of Directors – The Board of Directors is the governing body for the UofL Athletic Association, a subsidiary corporation having control over the intercollegiate athletic program at UofL. The Board is composed of 23 individuals of which two are students.
