Summary of Research Interests
Dr. Stephen J. Winters is a physician scientist interested in the regulation of gonadotropin secretion and subunit gene expression in the anterior pituitary. Specific projects focus on the actions of pituitary adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide (PACAP), and the factors unique to regulation of gonadotropin subunit gene expression in pituitary cells from male primates.
