Summary of Research Interests
The concentration of most research projects is structure-based drug design. This involves a process of rationalization, prediction, and design using molecular modeling. In all projects there is a strong experimental component, which can include NMR or X-ray structural data, molecular biology, or biophysics. The research interests of the lab range from the design of small molecule DNA binders, DNA structure (duplex, triplex, and quadruplex), protein drug design, protein-DNA interactions, and protein-protein interactions.
