by Roark,Sherry Lynn last modified Mar 12, 2012 02:44 PM

This workshop, presented by GME,is designed (1) to support 2nd year residents as they prepare for their ACGME required scholarly activity and (2) to provide a common understanding of the research process across medical specialties. It is offered in the fall in anticipation of residents’ selecting their scholarly activity for year 3.

By the end of this workshop, 2nd year residents will have:

    • Explored at least two potential ideas for scholarly projects.
    • Refined at least one idea in terms of hypothesis and study design.
    • Participated in activities and discussions about the basic components of research design and implementation.
