Fellowship Program

GI Fellows 2011

The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Fellowship Training Program is a fully accredited, three-year training program that seeks to develop physicians to prepare them for a career in gastroenterology, hepatology or nutrition.

We focus on ACGME core competencies to provide excellent patient care thorough medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism and systems-based practice.

Faculty provide individual mentoring for continued growth of internal medicine skills, development of gastroenterological cognitive/procedural skills, and clinical/bench research in subspecialty areas of nutrition, IBD, hepatology, gastrointestinal motility, therapeutic endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasonography, and liver transplantation.

Visiting rotations for Internal Medicine residents from other programs are welcome.
