Mini Bio:
Dr. Wo is a member of several professional societies and a fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association. He is the recipient of several awards and honors, including the 2005 Outstanding Mentor Award from the Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He serves as the associate editor of Diseases of the Esophagus. He is also the reviewer for several additional journals, including the American Journal of Gastroenterology and the Neurogastroenterology and Motility
A frequent lecturer on esophageal and gastrointestinal motility disorders, Dr. Wo has been an invited speaker at numerous regional, national, and international symposia and has given more than 70 oral and poster research presentations on gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastroparesis, and other related topics. In addition, he contributed numerous publications to the gastroenterology field.
