Dr. Wear’s Center activities include coordinating clinical ethics and humanities throughout the Western New York state area. His consulting responsibilities occur primarily at the VA Medical Center in Buffalo where he directs the Ethics Consultation Team, and provides twenty-four hour, seven day a week consulting coverage regarding ethical, legal and psychosocial issues to this institution. His research interests in bioethics include death and dying ethics, informed consent, and surgical ethics.
