Congratulations to our 2011-12 Geriatric Medicine Fellows!

All three of our current fellows:  Dr. Sonia Itticheria, Dr. Sadaf Naqvi and Dr. Daniela Neamtu have been accepted as AMDA Future Fellows for the upcoming American Medical Director Association's 2012 Long Term Care Conference March 8- 11 in San Antonio, Texas. This was a competitive application process.  We are very proud of their accomplishment.

Congratulations also to Dr. Sadaf Naqvi and Dr. Daniela Neamtu both of whom will be presenting posters at the American Medical Director Association's 2012 Long Term Care Conference March 8-11 in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Naqvi's poster is entitled: "Survey of Statin Use in a Nursing Home Population"

and

Dr. Neamtu's poster is entitled: "Benadryl, It's Not Just for Sleep Anymore! A Case of Behavioral Magagement iwth Diphenhydramine"
