The mission of the Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine is to excel in the training of medical students and resident physicians

Residency Training Programs

Our Department offers two Residency Programs:

  1. The Louisville Residency Program:  This program offers a diverse patient population in an urban setting, with clinical work based in our UofL Family Medicine Centers
  2. The Glasgow Residency Program:  The Glasgow Residency Program is based in rural, southeastern Kentucky.  Please visit The Glasgow Residency Program for more information.
