After completing my residency and fellowship, my wife and I relocated to Louisville so she could pursue a fellowship in gastroenterology. Prior to joining the faculty at UofL in 2005, I spent four years in private practice. First, in an outpatient primary care setting then joining an orthopaedic group where I practiced sports medicine full time.

I joined UofL in order to become involved with the sports medicine fellowship as well as participate in teaching residents and medical students. Currently, we are providing care for athletes at UofL, Bellarmine, and Spalding Universities. Aside from my role with the fellowship, I also serve as an assistant director of resident education. Currently, I see patients at Central Station in both the family medicine and sports medicine clinics.

My teaching interests include musculoskeletal exams and injuries, concussions, medical problems of the athlete, and joint injections. Outside of medicine, I am an avid golfer and ice hockey participant. I also enjoy attending football games and visiting Churchill Downs.
