Bio
I am a geriatrician whose focus is on research and education in palliative medicine. Specifically, my research is in the nursing home. I was awarded a Geriatric Academic Career award in September 2004 from the Health Resources and Services Administration. This award this award enabled me to focus on teaching palliative medicine to interdisciplinary teams. I am Medical Director at Episcopal Church Home and a physician for the Palliative Medicine Fellowship. I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
