Research
The Office of the Executive Vice President for Research maintains a website with links to an array of information designed to promote and support research, scholarship, and creative activities in the university community. You can access information on research policies and procedures; research handbook; research conflict of interest policy; grants, awards and compliance; research programs in the School of Medicine; ethical conduct and reporting of research; multi institutional research application; industry contracts; and grant writing tips. This office assists faculty in obtaining both intramural and extramural support. If you want assistance in this area, contact the Office of Research at 852-7794.
Each year, the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research publishes a Record of Research and Creative Activity. The two most recent reports are posted on the web where you can search for information by school and/or department quickly. You can also gather information on the research interests of your colleagues by using the database Medline via the search engine PubMed. Start the search by entering a keyword and then the word Louisville. A list of papers published on the keyword subject with at least one UofL author will be generated.
The Statistical Consulting Center provides assistance in many of the phases of research that requires statistical expertise.
