Faculty Development
The goal of Faculty Development in the School of Medicine is to assist faculty in becoming accomplished and successful in their chosen endeavors, and to sustain a collegial community of lifelong learners capable of meeting the present and future challenges of academic medicine.
Faculty Development functions include developing faculty enrichment activities and programs in the School of Medicine, and enlisting skill development opportunities for faculty in the areas of career development, teaching, research, clinical practice, and administration.
Specific activities will include an orientation program for new faculty, promoting faculty career development, mentoring, and special programs, such as Women in Medicine.
