CASE 2
A 38 year old
white male presents to the ED after being assaulted by 2 subjects
that reportedly struck him with fists and kicked him in the face
and chest. He does admit to several beers, and smells of EtOH.
He does appear mildly intoxicated. Physical exam shows the lesion
pictured at left. Several other abrasions are found over the face
and anterior chest.
Are the physical
findings supportive of his claim?
What (if anything)
is notable about this lesion?
