As Program Director of one of the longest standing Emergency Medicine programs, I would like to invite you to visit, talk with or e-mail our residents or myself at anytime. We are very proud of our history, our graduates and our current residents who continue to promote excellence in patient care, education and clinical research. We have a diverse talented faculty who are genuinely committed to educating residents in the evolving specialty of emergency medicine. The hospital and medical school are very supportive of our mission and vision to train young physicians in this dynamic specialty. Our residents enjoy graded responsibility under the supervision of emergency medicine faculty at an urban Level I Trauma Center. Most recently, residents also rotate to nearby community hospitals where they are allowed to gain experience with patients in a more typical community hospital venue.
