We accept applications at the EM-1 level only. Applicants must receive their medical degree by the start of training and must obtain a Kentucky license by the start of their EM-2 year. All applicants are required to submit USMLE Part I and Part II Board Exam results.

We participate in the Matching Program for all positions and applicants should familiarize themselves with NRMP procedures and deadlines. Since these dates vary from year to year, it is the applicant's responsibility to adhere to them.We accept applications only via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Applications are accepted from September 1st and all material must be received no later than November 15th. Due to the large number of applicants, a preliminary screening is necessary. The faculty reviews completed applications and competitive applicants are invited for an interview. Since no action can be taken on incomplete applications, we urge applicants to complete the process of obtaining recommendations, transcripts and forms on a timely basis.
