Goals and Aspirations: Once residency is completed I would like to return to my pre-hospital roots as a Fire/EMS medical director in addition to working in the ED. I'm also hoping to finish up my private pilot's license that I started years ago in the near future.

Born and raised in Louisville with both mine and my wife's entire family locally, but also for the programs reputation of aggressively progressive autonomy, consistently high accuity and plenty of trauma to go around. This is not a place where residents can coast, but rather a place that pushes residents just beyond their limits to maximize their potential.

What Makes You Tick? My parents. Growing up in school if I came home with a report card full of A's they usually say, "who cares? I've gotten plenty of those."My parents built their lives on striving to always be better and in turn, is what makes me go. So spend a day in my shoes and you'll see that I am 100% on in whatever I am doing. Whether its school, work, studying, hitting the gym, or etc. I prefer to be pushing the limit. Finally when its night time I'll power down, have some cookies and milk and head to bed.
Goals and Aspirations: As a young man I saw myself as somebody who had the potential to help people. As long as I am able to do that for my patients my goal is fullfilled. On a lighter side I would love to be able to make the most out of my life. Go bungee jumping, cliff diving, visit as many countries as possible, try foods from around the world, see lots of live concerts, plays, and sporting events.
