Systole
Systole, UofL School of Medicine's literary journal, represents an annual publication that celebrates the writings of members of our academic community. Systole has Greek origins denoting "a drawing together or contraction." We hope this journal will bring together our academic medical community in fostering humanism in medicine.

- This is the first edition of our group's literary journal named Systole. Medical students were the target audience for the call for writings. For 2010, we anticipate submissions from medical students and residents.
