Description: Traditional areas of carcinogenesis will be described. Lectures in the areas of drug resistance, growth factors, oncogenes, tumor suppressor genes and metastasis will provide the background for understanding of the expression and regulation of neoplasms in mammals.

Prerequisites: BIOC 645 and 647, or consent of instructor.
