Description: Cellular metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids and nucleotides; enzyme properties, kinetics, and control mechanisms, ligand binding; biomembrane phenomena. Lectures concurrent with CHEM 547; one added lecture hour each week covers advanced topics. Credit may not be earned in both 547 and 647.
