The faculty in the Department of Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology, in addition to having a major role in the education of medical and dental students, also is one of the most active basic science departments at the UofL in terms of research. This affords our students not only excellent academic preparation but diverse research opportunities in the neurosciences. The department runs the only analytical microscopy core facility at UofL.
