Research Description:

My laboratory is interested in the biophysical chemistry of nucleic acids and their interactions.  Current interest is focused on the structure, stability and folding kinetics of G-quadruplex structures.  G-quadruplexes are four-stranded DNA structures found in telomeres and in gene promoters.  They are functionally important and are emerging targets for designed drugs.
