When are non-tenurable faculty (term) evaluated for promotion?

Normally, requests for promotion to Associate Professor will not be considered until a full period of five years in rank has been completed. Requests for early action are appropriate if the faculty member's accomplishments meet the stated criteria. If you are on term track, you will be evaluated in the fall regardless of the month you started. Promotion binders are due to the Office of Faculty Affairs and Advancement on August 1st of each year.
