When are tenurable (probationary) faculty evaluated for promotion and tenure?

The evaluation for promotion and tenure occurs within the twelve months after five years of service applied to tenure. If you are on a tenure track and your start date is between May and November, you will be reviewed for tenure by the School's PAT Committee in the fall of your fifth year with supporting material due in the Office of Faculty Affairs and Advancement on August 1 of that year. Faculty on the tenure track with a start date between December and April will be reviewed in the spring of the fifth year with supporting material due in the Office of Faculty Affairs and Advancement on May 1 of that year. A pre-tenure review occurs at the mid-point of a faculty member's probationary period which is at the 2 1/2 year point.
