Dr. Luddington received her undergraduate degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans in 1997.  She received her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2002.  She completed her Psychiatry Residency in 2007 at the University of Louisville, where she was Co-Chief Resident and President of the UofL Psychiatric Residency Association.  She completed her Fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry in 2012 at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, in Ohio.

Dr. Luddington is currently board certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and also has her Kentucky Medical License.

Dr. Luddington is a current member of the Residency Advancement Committee, Kentucky Psychiatric Medical Association, and American Psychiatric Association. She has been involved with volunteer work, such as "Pressing Forward While Reaching Back" mentor for minority high school, college, and medical student (University of Louisville), NAMI Walk for Recovery walker, Depression screening volunteer at the Kentucky State Fair, Middle School Connection volunteer at Jefferson County Public Schools, and CATS testing aide volunteer at Jefferson County Public Schools.

Dr. Luddington received the John Bell Emergency Psychiatry Award (University of Louisville Resident Award - 2005), Community Psychiatry Award (University of Louisville Resident Award - 2006), and Mini-Fellow for the Minority Research Training Program in Psychiatry (American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting - 2007).

Dr. Luddington also has several publications, including "Psychiatric Advance Directives:  May you disregard them?", "Clinical Implications of the Genetic Variation in the Serotonin Transporter Region: A Review", and "Medical Decision-Making by Psychiatry Residents".
