Centerstone is the principal community mental health program for Louisville and the surrounding seven county regions.  It offers a comprehensive array of mental health services to the general population.  There are four major CenterStone outpatient facilities, as well as the Alcohol Rehabilitation Center (CARC), which offers both outpatient and inpatient services.  The CenterStone outpatient experience consists of assignment to one of the offices, including outpatient services at CARC.  The resident participates in diagnostic evaluations, staff conferences, and ongoing psychopharmacology and psychotherapy with selected patients, under the supervision of a psychiatrist.
