RaiseRED earns lots of green for UofL pediatric cancer research

This year, the annual raiseRED dance marathon raised a record amount for the pediatric cancer program at University of Louisville Department of Pediatrics. In fact, University of Louisville students doubled the number of dancers and raised six times more money than they did last year.

“The students and supporters of raiseRED did an amazing job, raising $150,000 for pediatric cancer research and for the care of children with cancer and blood disorders served by our program,” said Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplant Division Chief Ken Lucas. “These funds are vital to continue our mission in caring for these patients as well as advancing clinical research for these children.”
