 Welcome to the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Communicative Disorders. We have a long and rich heritage of training Otolaryngologists, Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists. Our graduates have experienced success in private practice and academic venues, and we are proud of our training programs!

Located in Louisville, KY, the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Communicative Disorders has more than 20 nationally and internationally renowned faculty members. We provide advanced care in areas such as pediatric otolaryngology, cochlear implantation, head and neck cancer, airway reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive skull base surgery, microvascular reconstruction, transoral robotic surgery and minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery. Our Audiology program has a rich training heritage for the Au.D. degree and is starting an exciting new combined Au.D./Ph.D. program in collaboration with the Department of Psychology. Our Speech-Language Pathology program provides extensive patient care and training in inpatient, outpatient and school settings, giving trainees the full gamut of learning opportunities.
