Frazier Rehabilitation & Neuroscience Center (FRANC)

Comprehensive rehabilitation services are offered by Jewish Hospital-KentuckyOne Health through Frazier Rehab Institute. Providing therapy in an acute care setting for inpatient and outpatient rehab needs, Frazier offers a number of specialties focused on helping individuals reach a higher quality of life.  Patients span in age from infancy to geriatrics with a wide variety of diagnoses, including neurologic (spinal cord injury, brain injury and stroke), amputations, multiple trauma, orthopedics, arthritis, cardiopulmonary, congenital, developmental, degenerative and general medical cases.

Robley Rex VA Medical Center

The Robley Rex VA Medical Center is a tertiary care facility classified as a Clinical Referral Level 2 Facility. It is a teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the-art technology as well as education and research. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, tertiary care, and acute care in areas of medicine, surgery, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, oncology, dentistry, as well as geriatrics and extended care. The Robley Rex VA Medical Center is a part of the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 9, which also includes facilities in Tennessee and West Virginia.

Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury Research Center (KSCIRC)

The KSCIRC is performing nationally recognized research in spinal cord regeneration. The Center presently accommodates 6 Principal Investigators and more than 30 staff members in 10,000 sq. ft. of newly renovated research space. Ongoing research areas include neuro-protection after spinal cord injury, stem cells, gene therapy, cell transplantation, neurotrophic factors, and surgical repair.

Kornhauser Health Sciences Library

The Kornhauser Health Sciences Library houses materials and services supporting the health-related programs of the University of Louisville, including the schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health and Information Sciences. The library's collection contains over 250,000 cataloged volumes in print and thousands of journal subscriptions both in print and electronically accessible and represents a significant resource for the entire medical community of the Louisville metropolitan area and the western half of Kentucky.
