Dr. Wang joined Neuromuscular Division, Department of Neurology, University of Louisville in August, 2012 as an associate professor. After receiving his M.D. from Hunan Medical University in China and Ph.D. degree at Karolinska Institute in Sweden, Dr. Wang completed his internship and residency in neurology in SIU and clinical fellowship in Neuromuscular disease and clinical neurophysiology in Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Wang was then recruited back to SIU as an assistant professor, clinical director of EMG lab, MDA and ALS. Dr. Wang also chaired the neurology department of Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois.
