The University of Louisville Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Disorders Medicine leads in the care and research of pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, asthma/COPD, complex sleep disorders, lung cancer, management of adult respiratory distress syndrome and septic shock.

  • Asthma - The University of Louisville Asthma Program combines multiple physician specialists and ancillary health care staff to provide to our patients a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and management of asthma.

  • COPD- The University of Louisville COPD Management program offers the highest quality of care in the management and treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

  • Cystic Fibrosis - The University of Louisville Adult Cystic Fibrosis program is dedicated to the management of patients with Cystic Fibrosis and the study of conditions affecting this population.

  • Interstitial Lung Disease - The University of Louisville Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Program is dedicated to the management and study of diffuse lung diseases that injure and scar the structures of the lung critical for gas exchange.

  • Interventional Pulmonology - The University of Louisville Interventional Pulmonology (IP) program provides multiple services for individuals with a wide variety of airway disorders.

  • Lung Cancer Clinic at the UofL Health - Brown Cancer Center - The UofL Health - Brown Cancer Center provides the highest level of clinical cancer care in the region, access to the latest cancer research, and the benefits of a team-focused, multidisciplinary approach.

  • Lung Nodule Clinic - The University of Louisville Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Pulmonary Division is committed to offering the community a state-of-the-art Lung Nodule Clinic.

  • Lung Transplant - The University of Louisville Lung Transplant Program seeks to improve the quality of life of patients with end-stage lung disease by providing state-of-the-art care driven by compassion, grounded in scientific evidence, and supported with innovative research.

  • Pulmonary Function Tests Lab - The University of Louisville Pulmonary Care & Performance Laboratory is located in the UofL Physicans Outpatient Center. This lab features state-of-the art pulmonary equipment and offers a wide variety of respiratory services.

  • Pulmonary Hypertension - The UofL Pulmonary Hypertension program provides consultative services, information and education for individuals with pulmonary hypertension.
