Pulmonary

appointment buttonThe University of Louisville Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Disorders Medicine leads in the care and research of pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, asthma/COPD, complex sleep disorders, lung cancer, management of adult respiratory distress syndrome and septic shock.

 

Sleep Disorders

The University of Louisville Physicians - Sleep Center includes a state-of-the-art sleep lab that encourages restful sleep, and is Louisville's only dedicated sleep center accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). Staffed by specialists who are Board Certified in Sleep Medicine by the AASM, our sleep specialists evaluate and treat a wide variety of sleep complaints and disorders.

 

Critical Care

The specialists in this division direct the Intensive Care Unit at UofL Health - UofL Hospital, UofL Health - Jewish Hospital, and the Robley Rex Veterans Affairs Medical Center. In this unit, patients who require intensive care following an infection, major surgery or severe breathing problems receive close, constant attention from a team of specially trained professionals.
