Hospice and Palliative Job Analysis Survey

Hospice and Palliative Job Analysis Survey

Hello Hospice and Palliative Social Work Professional,

We request your assistance with completing a job analysis survey concerning the activities you perform in the hospice and palliative social work profession. To be eligible to participate in this survey, you must be currently or recently practicing in this specialty area.

This job analysis will support an evidence-based hospice and palliative social work certification program, which will include an objective multiple-choice examination.

Based on responses you and other hospice and palliative social workers provide, a certification examination will be developed which includes relevant tasks, skills, and knowledge related to performing hospice and palliative social work. By completing the survey, you have an important opportunity to make a direct contribution to your profession. The information you submit in the survey will be confidential.

Please respond to the survey by October 5, 2017.

We value your input and expertise, and appreciate your taking the time to complete the survey. It is important that we receive as many responses as possible so that we can get accurate information about this specialized social work practice.

As a thank you for participating in the survey, we would like to offer you a chance to enter a drawing to win one of four memberships to the Social Work Hospice and Palliative Network (SWHPN).  If you are already a SWHPN member, your membership will be extended for one year. In order to be eligible, you must enter your contact information at the end of the survey.

If you choose to participate, click on the link below that will take you to the survey. The anonymous survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. It is strongly encouraged that you complete it in one sitting; however, you can exit the survey and return to it at a later time by clicking on the link provided. Participation is voluntary.

TAKE THE SURVEY

We are grateful to the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation for funding the development of an evidenced based certification program for hospice and palliative social workers.

Thank you for your participation!
