Description

The study is being conducted under the direction of Julio A. Ramirez, MD, FACP at the University of Louisville. About 5500 local subjects will be invited to take part in this research. The total number of subjects across all sites will be 5500. The purpose of this study is to determine early and late clinical outcomes of hospitalized adult patients with pneumonia to define the incidence of each outcome from the total population in Jefferson County KY.
