Training Opportunities

In our Center, all activities regarding care of the refugee involves teaching, service, and research. Training opportunities are interprofessional and include representation from medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, public health, social work, engineering, business, law, among others. Our approach touches on every college and school within the University of Louisville.

Training opportunities exist for all healthcare and related disciplines. Optimally, training is done with a didactic component followed by an immersive experience that includes components in refugee and immigrant health, antimicrobial stewardship, diseases of global significance, travel medicine, and immunization.
